Abstract: The present work discusses the position of the Brazilian Superior Court of Justice which has recognized foreign arbitral Awards, except for those that violate public policy. The Brazilian Report served as basis for the general report of the 19th International Congress of Comparative Law of the International Academy of Comparative Law, which took place between 20 and 26.07.2014.
